follow the ukulele.
Song written and produced by Ray Vincent. https://www.rayvincent.ca The ukulele is a jam over a track I wrote awhile back (follow the music). I used a semi hollow electric ukulele. That I made recently. It has a Mi-si Align active system in it with bass, treble and volume control. I really love the controls cause they have plus (boost) and minus. It has a Lr Baggs under saddle pickup. It has Worth Brown strings with low G. Goes from there into Lr Baggs EQ/DI and then in my computer where I record a dry track and effects one. The effects channel has guitar rig loaded up with some goodies. Let me know if you want to know what that is. Just ask.
Shell Back concert ukulele plugged in. Handmade by Ray Vincent
Sound sample of this concert ukulele plugged in through Mi-Si active pickup. More pictures and info at https://www.rayvincent.ca This unique design by Ray Vincent is meant for acoustic, but this video shows how good it sounds also plugged in. There are effects on the sound like reverb.
Fibonacci shaped acoustic instrument. The Root
This is a explanation and some sound samples of the newest Root I have made. http://www.raysrootworks.com I made this one with a more violin/cello string set up. I also make it a mountain dulcimer string set up. This set up give it a little more of a sitar sound. (not in this video)
Rays Rootworks meets Dennis O'Toole. Nice connection of voice and handmade acoustic guitar.
http://raysrootworks.com/ My friend Bill Reddick, brought Dennis O'toole by to check out the new acoustic guitar that I had just finished building for a customer. (Nadine) The Root 6. Pics included at the beginning of the video of the Root 6 while Dennis and I talk. Then Dennis takes us away with this song written by him (and Dad). It was really nice meeting Dennis, he's a legend around here in Peterborough. This beautiful track is testimonial of Dennis's life here in Peterborough. Memories of living on the river and his Dad. Thank's Dennis, Nadine and Bill. Ray Vincent

The sprout live !! By Ray's Rootworks
https://www.raysrootworks.com/ This is a second video I made of the Sprout. This is a little jam on it. I put some effects on it. (delay, reverb) I wanted just show how you can put a guitar strap on it and plug it in and jame away. The audia is a mix of direct sound from the piezo into some effects and a mix of the camera mic. The sprout can be tuned many way and even have more strings added. The strap my partner Sue makes. You can read more and see more at the link above. These instruments I created myself and build them with lots of care and love. Enjoy Ray's Rootworks
